What is in Your Hand? | Celtic Lyric Worship Music

What happens when we feel like what we have to offer is too small for the task ahead? This original, Celtic style worship song of mine is a reminder that God doesn't ask us to find resources we don't have; He asks us to look at what is already in our hands and yield it completely to Him. Whether it's a staff, a smooth stone, or a few loaves, God takes our ordinary offerings and multiplies them for His extraordinary glory.

Scripture Focus: Exodus 4:1-5 1 Samuel 17:34-40 John 6:5-14 Romans 12:1

What is in Your Hand? (lyrics)
[Verse 1] I’m looking at the mountain, looking at the need Wondering how to move it, planting every seed I’m searching for an answer, looking for a way But I hear Your quiet whisper at the break of day You’re calling me to listen, You’re calling me to stand And with a holy question, You ask me, “What is in your hand?” [Chorus] So here is what I’m holding, Lord, it’s all I have to bring A simple, yielded offering, the least of everything It’s not for me to measure, it’s not for me to weigh I place it on Your altar, I give it all away [Verse 2] I thought I needed more, I thought I needed gold I thought I needed greatness, or a story to be told But You used the shepherd’s spirit, You used the humble heart You take the common pieces and You set them all apart You don’t look for the power that the world can understand You’re waiting for the moment I release what’s in my hand. [Chorus] So here is what I’m holding, Lord, it’s all I have to bring A simple, yielded offering, the least of everything It’s not for me to measure, it’s not for me to weigh I place it on Your altar, I give it all away [Bridge] Take the staff, take the stone, take the fish and loaves Take my life and use it wherever Your Spirit flows For Your glory and Your honor, let Your kingdom stand Lord, I now surrender—what is in my hand

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
