Overcomers

Welcome to the official worship lyric video for "Overcomers," a powerful modern hymn declaring the victory we have through Jesus Christ. No matter the trials, battles, or dark seasons we walk through, we stand firm on His unchanging Word, clothed in His armor, and anchored in His finished work on the cross.

Scripture Basis
Romans 8:37 (NIV) — "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." 1 John 4:4 (NASB): "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." Revelation 12:11 (KJV) — "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Also see: 1 John 5:4–5; Ephesians 6:11–13; Rev 21:4-5

Overcomers (lyrics)
[Verse 1] In a world of trial, a world of pain, Where shadows gather and hopes seem slain, We take our stand on the Savior's Word, The voice of truth that the nations have heard. Though the fire burns and the battle is long, Christ is our refuge, our strength and song. Bearing the cross, we will not turn away; Faithful to Jesus, we'll stand today. [Chorus] We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, By the word of our testimony we stand. Greater is He who is living in us; Strong in the name of our Lord Jesus. Christ has triumphed; victory's won. Our victory rests in God's own Son. [Verse 2] Not in our own strength do we fight, Strong in the Lord, in His power and might. Clothed in His armor, we stand unashamed, Holding the shield of faith in His name. Standing firm on His faithful Word, Trusting each promise we have heard. Submitting to God, every lie must flee; The victory is Christ's, and the victory is free. [Bridge] We will not love this passing life More than our Savior crucified. Though we walk through fire or sword, Nothing can separate us from our Lord. We will not cling to fleeting breath; Faithful to Jesus, even through death. He who endures till the race is won Will hear, "Well done," from God's own Son. [Final Chorus] We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, By the word of our testimony we stand. Greater is He who is living in us; Strong in the name of our Lord Jesus. Christ has triumphed; victory's won. We overcome through God's own Son. Death has no victory, fear has no claim; All of hell trembles at Jesus' name! Death has no victory, fear has no claim; All of hell trembles at Jesus' name! [Outro] To the one who overcomes, the promise remains: He makes all things new; His kingdom shall reign. No more sorrow, no more tears, No more death, no more fears. Forever His people, forever His own; Forever with Jesus before His throne. Forever we worship our Savior and King, Singing, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" (at home forever...) Singing, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" (lifting eternal praise...) To the one who overcomes, the promise remains: He makes all things new; His kingdom shall reign. No more sorrow, no more tears, No more death, no more fears. Forever His people, forever His own; Forever with Jesus, forever at home. Forever we worship our Savior and King, Singing, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" (at home forever...) Singing, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" (lifting eternal praise...)

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
