The Crimson Flood | Worship Music Video

This worship music video for "Holy Fire", based on my own experience and prayer life, is a prayerful invitation to experience the purifying and tangible power of the Holy Spirit. Inspired by the profound theological perspective that the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire is a literal, observable spiritual experience rather than a metaphor, this song weaves together ancient scriptural truths and the rich, evocative imagery of 17th-century hymnody. In this video, you will hear: Reflections on biblical passages such as Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16, and Luke 12:49, which underscore the reality of this divine fire. Imagery of the "celestial flame," "refining silver," and the "pillar of light," themes long cherished in historical worship to describe the Spirit's transformative work. A heartfelt prayer for total surrender, asking that our minds be set on God's desires and our lamps be kept filled with oil until the break of day. May this song serve as a catalyst for your own encounter with the Consuming Fire, helping you to move past metaphors into a deeper, more complete union with the Risen One. Scriptural Basis Matthew 3:11; 25:1-13; Luke 3:16; 12:49; Acts 2:3; Romans 8:5-6; 12:1; Daniel 7:10; Hebrews 12:28; Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 1, Revelation 3:18; Revelation 4:5; Exodus 13:21-22; Isaiah 1:25; Malachi 3:2-3; Proverbs 25:4; Job 23:10; Deuteronomy 4:24; 1 Thessalonians 5:19.

Holy Fire: Keep Me Burning (Lyrics)

[Verse 1]
In the shadows of our deepest shame
We searched for mercy, we called Your name
Bound by the debt we could not pay
Until the turning of the day
For in Him we have the grand release
The quiet wonder of a perfect peace
Through His own blood, the ransom price is shown
The riches of His grace are clearly known.

[Chorus]
Oh, the blood, the crimson flood
That washed away the stains of sin
The life He gave, the soul to save
To let the light of heaven in
From the altar of the cross it flows
The deepest love that ever rose
Redeemed by the blood, we stand made whole
The anchor for the weary soul.

[Verse 2]
How much more now, since we are justified
By the life of Him who bled and died
Safe from the wrath that was meant for me
Saved by His life, we are finally free
No longer marked by the weight of the fall
He answers our hearts when we hear the call
Peace with the Father, through the open gate
His love has conquered the hand of fate.

[Bridge]
We walk in the light as He’s in the light
No more the terror of the dark of night
The fellowship held in the sacred vine
Cleansed by the blood, a grace so divine
He washed us clean from every past stain
In the healing power of the Lamb who was slain.

[Chorus]
Oh, the blood, the crimson flood
That washed away the stains of sin
The life He gave, the soul to save
To let the light of heaven in
From the altar of the cross it flows
The deepest love that ever rose
Redeemed by the blood, we stand made whole
The anchor for the weary soul.

[Outro]
To Him who loves us, who set us free,
From all our sins by His own blood;
Our chains forever fell away,
Leading us from darkness into day.

To Him be the glory,
the power, the crown,
For the King who laid
all His majesty down.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
