As Little Children Do

Step into the pure joy, wonder, and intimacy of God’s family with "As Little Children Do", a Scripture-based worship song. Produced through prayer and deeply rooted in Scripture, this uplifting worship song explores the heart of Jesus' teaching that we must receive the Kingdom of God like a little child (Matthew 18:3, Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14–15, and Luke 18:16–17). It's intended to be sung by both children and adults alike, and is not meant to be only for children.
Sung by a vibrant children's vocal ensemble (synthetically generated) with warm, acoustic-driven instrumentation, this song takes listeners on a clear biblical and emotional journey: • Childlike Coming to God: Approaching the Lord with humility, dependence, trust, and open hearts. • Receiving the Kingdom: Embracing the central truth of the Gospels—that the Kingdom belongs to such as these. • Belonging to God's Family: Resting in the Father's embrace as brothers and sisters, sons and daughters. • Royal Identity: Celebrating the balance of God's majestic reign and His deep personal intimacy as "Abba, Father." • Joyful Worship: Expressing the natural response of children who know they are fully loved, redeemed by the cross, and brought out of darkness into His marvelous light. Musical Style & Instrumentation • Vocals: Joyful, jubilant young voices featuring call-and-response sections, a lead child vocal, and warm echo harmonies. • Instruments: 12-string acoustic guitar fingerpicking, warm grand piano, melodic upright bass, soft ambient synth pads, tambourine, maracas, and light drums. "Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." — Mark 10:15

As Little Children Do (lyrics)

[Verse 1 — Children's Ensemble]
Lord, we come just like a little child, Trusting You with hearts so pure and mild. We humbly run into Your loving arms, Receiving all Your grace with open hearts.
[Chorus — Children's Choir with Echo Vocals]
Oh, we give You thanks and joyful praise! You brought us out of darkness into Your kingdom of light! Through the cross of Jesus, by His precious blood, You washed us and filled us with Your wonderful love! We receive Your kingdom as little children do, (As little children do!) With humble hearts we're trusting only You. (Trusting only You!) Your children are singing, "La, la, la," rejoicing in You! (La, la, la, rejoicing in You!) One happy family, forever with You! (Forever with You!)
[Verse 2 — Children's Ensemble]
Lord, You've made Your kingdom our home of love, Held within our Father's arms above. Sisters and brothers, daughters and sons, Living together as Your little ones.
[Bridge — Children's Choir Call and Response]
I'm a child of the King, forever loved by You! (Forever loved by You!) I'm part of Your royal family; all Your promises are true! (All Your promises are true!) Our Father reigns forever, high above us all; Yet when Your children call Your name, You always hear our call!
[Outro — Full Children's Ensemble]
We worship You, Papa—our Abba, Father! We love You, Lord and lift Your holy name! Forever we'll adore You and give You all the praise. We're so glad we belong to You! (We belong to You!) Come, all God's children, sing: La, la, la... (La, la, la...)

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"

Just Like Jonah

Join a joyful children's ensemble for an uplifting, upbeat praise song exploring a powerful biblical parallel! This track breaks down the incredible "Sign of Jonah"—comparing three days and nights in the belly of a great fish to Christ's time in the heart of the earth, leading to ultimate victory over death and new life for all. Bible References • Matthew 12:39–40 • Jonah 1:17 – 2:10 • Romans 5:6 • 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
Watch online: Just Like Jonah.

Just Like Jonah (lyrics)
[Verse 1] God told Jonah, "Go and preach!" To a city far away, Instead he caught a ship to sail Upon the ocean spray! A mighty storm began to blow, The sailors cried in fear, "Oh, who has caused this heavy wind To toss our little gear?" [Chorus] Slosh, splash, down he went! Into the ocean blue! God prepared a big, big fish To rescue Jonah through! Just like Jonah was inside The belly of the fish, God kept him safe and sound— His love is deep and rich! [Verse 2] Three long days and three long nights, In the dark and deep, Jonah prayed and trusted God While in the fish's keep. Then out he popped onto the sand, To preach with all his might, And turn a wicked city back To walking in the light! [Bridge] Now listen close, boys and girls, To what this means today, Jesus used the Sign of Jonah In a wondrous way: “Just like Jonah was inside The belly of the fish, So the Son of Man was in The heart of earth for this— Three days and nights, He died and rose, For sinners, weak as we, To conquer death and bring new life For you and me eternally!” [Outro] Yes, for you and me! In the deep blue sea, or the heart of the earth, Jesus' love shows endless worth!

Laborers in the Harvest

A powerful tribute and harvest song, written in June 2026.

The Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song using musical AI assistance and personally produced the video using Cyberlink PowerDirector. This project holds a very special place in my heart, and I want to deeply thank my wife, Jennifer, and my son, Joseph, for their invaluable input and support.

A Special Tribute
The lyrics for the outro (Reap Children Reap) hold a sacred history. They are based on a song written in 1992 by my dear, late friend and brother in Christ, Chuck Zierle. Bringing his words into this modern piece is a beautiful way to honor his memory and lasting legacy in faith.

Scriptural Foundation
The heart of this song is rooted deeply in the biblical call to the harvest fields:

  • Psalm 126:5-6 – Sowing in tears, reaping in joy.
  • John 4:35-36 – Fields white for harvest.
  • Matthew 9:37 – The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
  • John 9:4 – Working while it is still day.

May this song stir your spirit, encourage your heart, and bless your walk with Christ!

You can watch it here on Rumble or view it below, where I have also included the lyrics. Here is a short version of just the outro.

Laborers in the Harvest

Verse 1: The Sacrifice

Those who sow in tears
Will reap with songs of joy.
He who goes out weeping
Carrying seed to sow
Will return with songs of joy
Carrying sheaves with him.

Chorus: The Awakening
Open your eyes!
Look at the fields!
The harvest is ripe
The laborers few.

Verse 2: The Urgency
We must work while it’s day
And walk the narrow way;
For night comes soon
When no man can work
So let us serve and not shirk;
While the light’s still on our way
Let us work while it’s yet day.

Outro: The Call
Can’t you hear Your Master calling?
Reap! Children, Reap!
Can’t you hear Your Master calling?
Reap! Children, Reap!
(repeat 2 times)

Can’t you hear your Master calling?
Reap! Children, Reap!
Before the evening shadow’s falling,
Reap! Children, Reap!
(repeat 2 times)
